Smala of Abdelkader is a gamified simulation that brings to life the historical Smala of Emir Abdelkader, one of the key figures in Algeria's resistance against colonial forces. The game allows players to experience and explore the organizational, cultural, and social life of the Smala, a mobile city that served as a refuge and military camp. By simulating the challenges, strategic decisions, and day-to-day activities of the Smala, this project aims to engage players with Algeria’s rich history in an interactive and educational way. We invite local designers, developers, and history enthusiasts to participate in the creation of this unique experience.
